11.5” x 9.5” Acrylic on Yupo, mounted on a panel, 2026
These summer flowers in warm yellow, orange, red and white, are bending and showing off against a sea green wall. Red poppies, delphinium, sunflowers, calendula, daisies and tickseed complement each other, intentionally or otherwise.
Interesting features: I wrapped beautiful imported papers around the panel support. See alternative images, below. Then mounted the art to the panel. Finished with a sating varnish.
I have a gardening theory: The more plants you have, the more each succeeds, because they have peer pressure. They know they’re being watched.
