This vibrant little gem is inspired by a recent visit to dear friends in Ste-Adolphe-d’Howard, Quebec. Their entire property was nothing short of jawdroppingly beautiful, down to every nook and cranny. This was just one of many such moments of magic created by their joined love of colour, nature and antiquities.

This 12" x 6" acrylic painting egan with a hot pink underpainting. Over that, to create a sense of weathered painted wood, is a crescendo of teals, turquoises, blues and violets. Against this backdrop, are airy little white/pink flowers, with just a couple of hot red flowers thrown in there for added contrast.
