36"H x 48"W, this was a successful commission, just sold late September. A gilded garden if ever there was one. A devoted fan of my work visited me during Guild Alive with Culture, in late July 2024. She mentioned a painting she wished she had bought 5 years previously. She asked if I could recreate it for her, but larger than the original. I took great delight in rendering this wild collection of hollyhocks against a gilded background. Needless to say, the client was over the moon. And so am I.
