This image is one of many from my allotment garden. These were blackberry blossoms bursting forth from their stalks, but also bounding over gardeners’ fences. Bursting being the operative word. Happy plants tell you just how they’re doing, don’t they? This seems, at first glance, to be a pretty two-colour image. But as you look closer, I’ve managed to get some deep purple, saffron and russet in the spaces.
